International Airports in Ukraine.

Where are international airports in Ukraine? I'm trying to make it to see someone that lives in Tsyurupinsk. I probably spelled it all wrong but hopefully it at least sounds right.

I'm desperately wanting to do things right and your site has been very helpful. I'm wondering what airport to try to fly into and then if it will be better to take a taxi or try to get my own mode of transportation?

The closest international airport is in Odessa (slightly over 200 km to Tsyuryupinsk). You can take a cab from Odessa to this town and it will take about three hours.

I hope we mean the very same Tsiurupynsk. -:) That one which is located in Ukraine near Kherson city. Unlike another pretty famous Tsiurupynsk which can be found in Russian not too far from Moscow.

Let's try to figure out a proper airport in Ukraine for you to fly. Not very many Ukrainian airports serve international flights. More about it here: Flights to Ukraine.

There are a few possible variants to reach the closest to Tsiurupynsk big city Kherson.

1.To fly to Odessa. According to Google.maps, it will take you 3 hours of driving to Tsiurupynsk.

2.To fly to Kiev. From Kiev to Kherson to take a night train (or plane). It will take you 15-20 minutes of driving to Tsiurupynsk from Kherson.

3. To fly to Simferopol, Crimea. It will take you 3 hours 23 min to drive to Tsiurupynsk.
