The front desk staff are very polite, helpful, and speak good English. Radisson is a business hotel more than a leisure, tourist hotel. All rooms have free high-speed and wireless Internet access.

Best Eastern Dnipro Hotel.

According to reviews of people who stayed at the Dnipro hotel, the best part about it is its great location. It is located at the end of Khreschatyk Street within walking distance of Independence Square, restaurants, shopping, and tourist sites. A down hill walk to the historical Podil area will take you 40 minutes from the Lavra Caves. It seems to be a hotel for businessmen and practical travelers.

Dniprovskiy Hotel.

It is an unusual hotel since it occupies a 2-storied river ship. A boat is situated on the Dnieper river in the historical Podol area of Kiev. There are 22 guest rooms at the hotel. Most of the rooms have river view. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning/climate control systems, satellite color TV, mini bar, king size bed, telephone with local, distant and international communication, refrigerator, radio, tea/coffee facility.

Gintama Hotel.

This small hotel only has 24 rooms and is never overcrowded. It is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and they speak English. The location is perfect - near St. Michael's Cathedral. The hotel is fairly expensive but Kyiv hotels cost more than most European Cities. To compare it to most of other Kyiv hotels which are usually huge concrete blocks it is nice to stay somewhere with a little character and more personal size.

Impressa Hotel.

The location is perfect, at the bottom of St Andrew's Descent, two mins walk from the Funicular, and about 10 mins stroll from Independence Square. Room was sparkling clean. You won't have a luxurious hotel experience at Impressa , but the visitors consider that a local Italian restaurant cooks food better than they tried in Italy.

Lybid Hotel.

The Lybid is a 3-star hotel and provides good value for the cost. No luxuries in the room, but clean and has everything you might need (including individually controlled air-conditioner).Front desk staff spoke very good English and were efficient, friendly, and helpful. Location is fairly central, and Kiev's main street Khreschatik, can be reached in five minutes by taxi and 15 minutes by metro, with the nearest station a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Hotel is reasonably priced but pretty outdated.

Natsionalny Hotel.

The Natsionalny Hotel is situated in Pechersk - a historical district of Kiev. Located on the bank of the River Dniepr, the hotel has recently undergone the total reconstruction and now offers its guest well-equipped rooms and modern facilities. Slavutich Hotel is a standard 3-star Hotel situated on the left bank of the river Dniepr. It is a good combination of price and quality. The price is fair and the service is good, hotel is very clean throughout, and the rooms are of a decent size. The view is really stunning, overlooking golden domes and modern buildings downtown. The restaurant on the 10 th floor serves good quality food and the cost is very reasonable. The hotel is not quite as close to town as you may want. However you can negotiate a good rate into the city center with the many taxis available.

Tourist Hotel.

A 3-star Tourist Hotel is located on the left bank of the Dniper River. It has 27 floors and is the largest hotel in Kyiv. The hotel is 15-20 minutes from Kyiv's city center by metro. The station "Livoberezhna" is right outside of the hotel, which is also close to the city's best parks and beaches. The rooms are clean and adequately comfortable.
