Our Kiev interpreter and guide Tasha Jallois says about herself: "I am Jack-of-all-trades." Where does this statement come from? Is it just juvenile brevity of the age when we think that we are capable to do EVERYTHING (Tasha is only 22) or this statement really has some strong background to be true? Let's see... First of all Tasha is a professional. She graduated from Ukrainian Institute of Linguistics and Management in 2008 with Master diploma in management, translation, interpretation, teaching (2 foreign languages English, French). Hm...Is she a recent University graduate only? What about her practical experience? Would this young Kiev interpreter be a good guide for you? You need so much to be done for your Ukrainian trip: to arrange tickets and transfers, to find a place to stay and eat, besides that you have big troubles with your Ukrainian or Russian...Is she capable to do everything this for you?! Let's check! Tasha's working career started when she was 16, working as a volunteer interpreter in the Kiev Children hospital #1, helping French and Belgium doctors cure bronchi diseases of newborns and little kids. At this time she was studying her first year in Kyiv National Linguistic University. Being a student Tasha went through positions of tele sales manager, journalist, translator for patent and legal bureaus. She took advantage of calling all over the world, speaking English with different people, cooperating with such famous national and International companies as Tip-Top Ukraine, Polek-Top Ukraine, UEFA, Sustain Agri, Comet (Yama group), Linco, IATA, Ukrainian State Police Office, Danish Embassy in Ukraine, Recamic, Michelin, Softline, Google, IT&T,Kyiv State Administration,International Law Company, European Committee for standardization, and so on. Kiev guide Tasha believes that life is a mystery, which we have to "unsecret". She is always up to everything new and happy to share her knowledge. She finally found herself as a school teacher of English. Tasha has a lot of hobbies and areas of interest. Her biggest hobby is traveling. That's why it became her second profession. Her career of Ukraine interpreter and guide she started with city Kiev and its suburbs. Not only she suggests to her customers quite traditional "classical excursions", but they can also take part in her own unique "Kiev Secret Places" tour. Tasha has found the places people would never notice in their everyday busy life. Her tour opens the curtain to what Kiev is hiding from us: an upside-down restaurant, a chocolate house and a chocolate man, dog-size crowns and giraffes living in the yard of apartment blocks, house of a crying widow and widower, alleys that keep love stories, scary lost graves and unbuilt mental house....
Tasha's traditional areas to work are Kiev and its suburbs. Having a personal car she is pretty mobile and flexible. Another car and additional driver are available in case of a big group of tourists. You can rely on her in case you need to order the tickets, arrange decent and not expensive accommodations for your stay in Kiev. And of cause, she is your guide, troubleshooter, interpreter and translator. Here is a list of services Kiev interpreter and guide Tasha Jallois usually provides:
I must say I was absolutely enthralled with Kiev interpreter Tasha's work. She is professional at everything she does. I have been extremely pleased with the quality. I had very profitable and easy business meetings and had a lovely time exploring Secret Kiev. It was all awesome. I would highly recommend her. Shaik Hamdan, UAE. We have just returned from another business trip to Ukraine, where we meet potential customers for our agricultural projects. We are exporting, installing and maintaining complete factories for sausage production from Denmark, so we had to meet with various businessmen of different location in Ukraine. Tasha was very helpful in setting up the appointments, organizing an itinerary of visits and she also located a competent driver and car. She was invaluable during the meetings, and even introduced us to the ukrainian businessmen to save us repeating it at each meeting. She also located potential customers for other products that were of interest. She was very conscious that "time is money" in business, and she offered many suggestions to streamline the day and smooth the meetings progress. We could not have done as much or as easily without her. She also helped us when shopping in some spare time that we had on one of the days. We would certainly recommend her, and we look forward to a continuing relationship with her when we are in Ukraine. And by the way, she is an excellent guide! You will definitely get interesting, not trivial information while walking ancient city Kiev. Leif hey-Knudsen & Torben Pindstrup, Denmark. We've used Tasha's translation and localization services on a number of occasions for various types of projects. We've always been extremely pleased with the quality of her work - professional, high quality, and always ready when we need it. She's a professional we can trust. Yann Faguer, France - Ukraine.
