By air: Lviv has an international airport with direct connections to Warsaw (LOT Polish airlines), Vienna (Austrian airlines), Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona, Kiev (Ukraine international airlines). Via Timisoara (Carpatai airlines) you can fly to Lviv from Rome, Frankfurt, Paris, Munich, Milan, Verona. Airport is located 6 kilometers away from the city. There is a tourist information bureau where you can get informational materials about Lviv and area, book a tour or hotel room.

A tram map of Lviv. (a new window opens) I can't say that a tram transportation is the best one to use during rush hours, but it covers practically all city's territory (75 km of track) and is very cheap (about 10 US cents per ticket).
