To drive a car in Ukraine. My 2004.

I would like to drive my car around Ukraine. Is it safe? What side of the road do you drive ( “Left” or “Right”)? Where are fuel stations to fill your car? What type or grade of fuel (premium, unleaded) does my car need?

How are the roads and highways? What are the speed limits for towns and for highways? Is something like 100 km/h or 110 km/h possible to drive?

Do people touch cars when parked?

Uh, I have to say "Do so at your own risk!!" The reason: The Ukraine is on the poorer side of things, which means they don't have all the money that is needed to make sure all of it's roads are perfectly straight and level (A LOT of cities in the U.S. don't have that either- like you wont want to take that car to Utah- unless you want the front end busted off!), so if you take it there, just expect it to be shattered to pieces within the first day (since that car needs to be ONLY on PERFECTLY LEVEL streets). NICE ASS CAR THOUGH!!!! (lucky dude! ;)

Driving in Ukraine

Hello there,

You must drive on right side of the road so it's kind of dangerous if you have steering wheel on the right. There are plenty gas stations everywhere but not all of them have premium unleaded fuel: the most popular are 92 and 95 octain.
Speed limit in general is 60 km/h in a town and 90 km/h out of town.
People don't touch a car on a parking spot if only they (people) are not thiefs. :-)
