Traveling to Ukraine. Crimea, Black Sea.

Firstly, as Australian citizen, do I need visa to visit Ukraine, and how long can I stay?....

Secondly, I am meeting a lovely Ukraine girl we would like to share a flat, is it easy to rent or as a foreigner is it possible to buy a flat?....

Thirdly, what are the criteria to do business in Ukraine?

Ukrainian words to learn

Peter, there is no such a word either in Russian or Ukrainian language. Perhaps your spelling is not correct. Two last letters in your word don't belong to Russian/Ukrainian Alphabet.

But it did reminds Russian "Красавцы". It means something like "Beauty". Often we use it in a little bit ironical manner. Hope it helps.

A question for you...can you tell me what does this word means, that was send to me by a lovely lady in Ukraine...."KpacaBNU", I bought a tourist guide dictionary, couldnt find it there.

Sounds like a BIG Dream.... Nevertheless, I think none GREAT accomplishment in the World would ever happened if people have lost there ability to dream. The more, human history teaches us that everything but eternal values turns to ashes.

Love, Sympathy, Friendship bring us hope and hold us on the surface of life.

As for your practical questions, sorry.... Perhaps, sooner or later they have to be addressed to the Ministries of Tourism or Foreign Affairs to be answered.

Thank you guys for the opportunity to come here in this forum where anyone can come to express an opinion or just to chat.

I want to conduct the Largest Ballroom Dance in the World in Ukrain. Australian, American, and English man among others will be invited to participate in Ballroom Dance in Ukraine. I am sure the lovely ladies of Ukraine would love the Idea. There will be 5000-10,000 men invited. Dont worry girls all the men will be screened.

Ok...The question is this:

# Would the Ministry of Tourism be prepared to come to the party?....
# Can the Dept of Foreign Affairs/Immigration facilitate issuing of visas to allow man of all nation to enter without too much difficulty?...
# Would the host cities (to be decided) prepared to provide big enough vanue to accomodate several thousand people?...
# Accomodation in host cities would be faced with gigantic accomodation problem, how can we solve these?...
# It is anticipated men from different countries will be arriving one week prior to the main event, so transportation is another issue for the local authority in host city to decide.

The benefit to the Host Country and the City will reap the reward;
# Tourist $$$$$s will flow in
# Highlighting Ukraine to the world as a Tourist hot spot.
# Ukranian girls will find romance and hopefully find their future husband, well we hope.
# Bringing the world together, so that, there should be no more war, but Peace and Dancing. Well at least reduce the war.

This is the First event of its type in the world. It will bring International media organization (Print/TV)from all over the world to Ukraine.

It is one of a few Ballroom Dance to be planned for the world. Ukraine is the first. Again it depends on our clear understanding and co operation with the appropriate authority.

The cost to put together such an event will be astronomical. Several million Dollars.

Visa. Here is an official list of countries which have VISA-FREE REGIME in Ukraine. Citizens of the above-mentioned countries do not need visas to enter Ukraine or transit through its territory for the period of time of up to 90 days with a valid travel passport. Unfortunately, there is no Australia there yet. Hence, you will need a visa.

To rent or to buy a flat.
It is a good idea not to stay in a hotel. Here is explanation why to rent apartment is better. Being a foreigner, you won't have any "additional" troubles to rent apartment to compare to local people.
